Web Development

Using a set of (mostly) free development tools, several custom Web applications are used for data acquisition and data access. Running on small embedded devices (Raspberry Pi), they are used in Home Automation projects.

.NET core

.NET Core is a free and open-source, managed computer software framework for Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems. It is a cross-platform successor to .NET Framework. The project is primarily developed by Microsoft and released under the MIT License. Using C# and Microsoft Visual Studio IDE a wide range of applications can be implemented.

ASP.NET

ASP.NET Core is the open-source version of ASP.NET, that runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows. ASP.NET Core was first released in 2016 and is a re-design of earlier Windows-only versions of ASP.NET. Available for ARM computers, it can even run on small devices such as a Raspberry PI.

Windows IoT core

Windows IoT, formerly Windows Embedded, is a family of operating systems from Microsoft designed for use in embedded systems. It also runs on Raspberry PI (up to Raspberry PI 3 B).
